After high school, I wasn't really sure what kind of career would be a good fit for me. I was always interested in animation, design, and technology, but I didn't have any technical knowledge or talent for art (at least I presumed so 😅), so I was afraid I wouldn't do well in the field. Eventually, I chose hospitality because I like working with people and helping them create delightful travel experiences.

 

Although I come from the hospitality industry, my interest in design has remained ever since. So when I discovered the field of UX during the pandemic, I was thrilled. It gave me a chance to redefine my career. I describe this new career path as a perfect blend of my childhood interests and my passion for helping people. I am also glad that I can apply my previous skillsets to what I do now in UX Design.

With design work, there are always endless opportunities to learn new things, but what I appreciate most is it gives me a chance to connect with different people on many levels. The thought of creating a product that I know will help others brings me gratification and motivates me to do meaningful work every day. I am beyond grateful to have this opportunity to make a difference in other people's lives every day. You can even say I'm changing the world one button at a time!
